Cosmetology Curriculum

The cosmetology curriculum contains an intense training environment for hair cutting, color technique, skin, makeup, manicuring, and the application of artificial hair to enhance and reward the creative styles of every student in school.

The enrollment plan covers 1500 hours of cosmetology and 400 hours of manicuring instruction, as required by the State Board of Cosmetology of Missouri, both in theory and practical work. Students in our Saint Louis, Missouri beauty school are educated in all phases of cosmetology, hairdressing, and manicuring to prepare them for the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology Examination. Subjects included in the cosmetology and manicuring courses include good grooming, public hygiene, visual poise, professional ethics, and personality development.
